Each one teach one*

dt. “Jeder Mensch bringt einem anderen etwas bei.”

“Each one teach one” is an African proverb that enslaved people in the United States took to heart. They were denied institutional education, so they had to organize life outside of state structures and impart as much knowledge to each other as possible.

We would like to commemorate this history and be inspired by people's resistance! In social movements for a liberated world, it is important that we pass on knowledge and skills to each other!

Our new sticker series also features quotes from two strong, political women who inspire us. Rosa Luxemburg and Maya Angelou. Luxemburg (1871-1919) was a representative of the European workers' movement, Marxist, journalist and politician. Angelou (1928-2014) was a Black writer, professor and civil rights activist in the USA
